Menstrual Health & Hygiene Awareness Session for Female Prisoners
The right to manage menstruation in a dignified manner is a fundamental need of every woman and still, menstrual hygiene is among the most challenging issues in many countries, specifically on the Prison ground. Santex Products acknowledged this challenge and collaborated with the Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners-Legal Aid Office (CWP-LAO) to facilitate Sindh prisons (Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur & Larkana) and help inmates manage their periods with dignity. Awareness session in Sukkur and Larkana was a further extension of their commitment to promote health & hygiene in prisons.
