5 things every girl on her period can relate to

If you can’t relate to any of this then are you even for real?

Bleeding once a month for a woman is a natural process. In fact, I can go as far as saying it’s a supernatural one. Exhibit A: how many men do you know who can bleed for a week, every month, without complaining? In fact, if you’re married, you’d know how men tend to actually give up on life even if they so much as contract a flu. Am I right or am I right? Not bragging though because it’s not all fun and games, to be honest. However, with the right pad, things get better. Even then, there are things every girl goes through while on her period. Here’s counting:

1.The unlimited food cravings

One minute you want cupcakes and the next you want soup; you can’t make up your mind, and to those who can’t follow, you wouldn’t give two hoops. You want what you want and more what you can’t have. Can’t relate? Stop reading, friend.

2.The ‘period’ mix

Let’s face it. No Strings Attached ended up providing us with unrealistic expectations but we’re not complaining. You don’t need someone else to make you a ‘period’ playlist. You’re a strong, confident woman, who is fully capable of putting it together for herself. So, what are you waiting for? Here's a handy link to help you get started.

3.Uncontrollable mood swings

Did the fact that you just put your right shoe in your left foot make you burst out in tears? Yep, hormones. Similarly, you’re agitated and whiny and also don’t mind crying from time to time. All of this is part and parcel of this rollercoaster we call menstruation.

4.‘Pamper me’ becomes your middle name

All you want is for someone to pamper you constantly. This is also around the time when spa days become a must and 24/7 attention is a given.

5.Sweatpants forever

Dressing up? What does that even feel like? It’s all about putting on those sweatpants and the most stretched out or oversized t-shirt you can find and taking over the world. Isn’t it?
